Weird New Year’s Resolutions

I was trying to find advice on how to keep my New Year’s resolutions since I made a few and I am not very sure if I could keep them. Luckily, I came across an awesome article on how to keep the resolutions that I made. Now that part is taken care of, I decided to challenge myself by coming up with more resolutions.

This led me to reading through some really weird and funny New Year’s resolutions. I have listed a few of them here and wrote some of my thoughts.

Break World Records

Who has not dreamed of standing out in history by being the best or baddest at something. Quite ambitious but worth the payoff (until somebody takes that record away from you).

Learn Unusual Skills

If getting any world record at all is too much of a feat, then you might want to start by learning some unusual skills. Juggling five weird stuff at a time, being unbelievably flexible, or mastering Elvish are some suggestions you would want to consider.

Wear Black All Year Round

If unusual skills are not in your list of preferences, then you might want to try unusual fashion habit. Commit to wearing black for the next 365 days, no matter how beautiful a summer day gets or how happy an occasion becomes.  It is a tough task but friends will definitely remember the year 2014 for you (that year when you became an unrelenting fan of monochrome fashion).

Go Green

If black is too dark, then you can try going green—that is, being a vegetarian. We need protein to survive, admittedly, but you can challenge yourself by sustaining yourself healthily through fruits and vegetables alone. It might actually do your waistline some good.

My list is already full so I will not add up further. These are really good stuff and you should consider them. Until next time. School is over in a few months. Hopefully, you all got everything planned from outfit to party!
